Well honestly, sometimes I'm scared to death of growing up. Then other times I'm so ready to move to the next stage in my life. I sometimes still feel like a boy, yet there are so many things in my life that are those of a man. Most people don't know the serious side of me or take the time to get to know it. I'm good at hiding what I'm thinking. I love quality time and conversation. I love those friendships that you discover years after you met someone. I've learned that one of the deepest relationships you will ever have with a person might be with a person that you have already met, but haven't taken the time to just sit down and ask, who the heck are you... deep down? My deepest relationship is also the relationship that I've probably hurt the most too. But Jesus is far more forgiving than I ever will be. He takes my broken pieces and continues to pick them up and mend what I've broken. Only 3 women in my life have seen me cry, one is my mom. At the core of me, I've been made with an artists heart that continues to want to create and see the beauty in every part of life. Human perception aside from God is a falicy. Men think too much of what they think and not enough of what their creator thinks. I love to write and it is one of the ways that I process what I'm thinking. Some people think that they know me, but they definitely know a small facet of me. There are probably 2 or 3 humans on this earth that have touched every facet of my being. I talk too much. I have made many mistakes in my life, but every day is a new day and a new slate. I have learned that vanity is the core of lust, pride, and the American Pop Culture. The grass is rarely greener on the other side, you're just near-sighted. The point in life is not to never fall down, it's to look far enough ahead so that you don't trip over the frigging rock in front of you. If you do fall, get up and stop crying about it. My little brother is probably the best friend I've ever had. I've learned not to continually look around for someone more important. Probably the one or ones who you need to make the most important are the ones you've known since they saw you come out of the womb (or out of said person's womb). I've stopped trying to be politically correct. I don't worry so much about pleasing people that I forget that I was never put on this earth with the intention of pleasing man. I've learned to say I'm sorry. One of my biggest fears is that I'll marry a woman and she will fall out of love with me. For me, divorce is not an option. I want to marry my best friend. I love long walks... off of a short pier! It's fun to get a lil wet sometimes. Love should never be luke-warm. Love is patient, love is kind, love is not boastful, love is not rude, and love keeps no record of wrong. I've learn that I'm incapable of love on my own. When I try to grasp onto something or someone it is not the same love as the love of I Corinthians 13. Don't worry about tomorrow, it has enough worries of it's own.
