I'm so tired and wasted
Away. I deal with bitter
Ness, what's the point I say
To Myself? It's such a shame
That I'm still at the same
Place, I still wanna play
Oooo Ooo Oowww
Growing up is hard to do
Oooo Oowww
I just wanna be a boy
Oooo Oowww
Twenty five and still alive
I'll just stay five
Ahh ahh
I'll be twelve and be ready
For, any chance to act my shoe
Size. yet at my little core
I know, it always ends up
That, every boy grows up
Except one, for sure
Oooo Ooo Oowww
Growing up is hard to do
Oooo Oowww
I just wanna be a boy
Oooo Oowww
Twenty five and still alive
I'll just stay five
Ahh ahh
I can't escape the fact that
I must, whether I want to or
Not, face what I have just
Seen. The boy can still be
There, but he needs to be
Able to be just here
Oooo Ooo Oowww
Growing up is hard to do
Oooo Oowww
I just wanna be a boy
Oooo Oowww
Twenty five and still alive
I'll just stay five
Ahh ahh
Call me Peter, I fly from
Captain Hook. I look for dear
Wendy, but she is just a girl.
Wake up, Peter, and take a look.
You're bigger now, not a clever book
Life is never clear,
So be a boy a bit
But only for a while.

(#50)
Mom, this is a dedication to you on your 50th Birthday. You've pushed me out of the womb physically, and the metaphorical womb of the world. It's now 25 years later and you are now twice the person I am... ha haaa. I wrote this at a time when friends seem shallow, and I find little good in who I see around. Synical, I know, but being a boy I don't have to deal with my bitternesses and feelings of disappointment. I have been compared to Peter Pan before, as the only boy who will never grow up. In this case, Peter is an escape from my problems. Mom, you've always been a source of encouragement, and I love you more than you will ever know... Love, Drew
